These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Leafovers ("the Service", "we", "our", or "us") — the Leafovers Chrome Extension and related services available at leafovers.com. By installing or using Leafovers, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Leafovers lets you create sticky notes on webpages and, when signed in with a Google account, sync those notes across your devices. The Service is offered in two plans:
Some features (sync, Premium) require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information and may not use another person's account without permission.
You can cancel your subscription at any time via the "Manage subscription" option in the extension, which opens the Stripe customer billing portal. When you cancel:
We want you to be happy with Leafovers. We offer the following refunds:
Beyond the cases above, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you additionally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. By purchasing a subscription and receiving immediate access to Premium features, you consent to the immediate supply of the digital service and acknowledge that this may limit your right of withdrawal to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights that cannot be waived — where such rights apply, they take precedence over this section.
How to request a refund: Email info@leafovers.com from the email address associated with your account. Refunds are issued through Stripe to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
We may change subscription prices from time to time. Price changes will not affect a billing period you have already paid for. We will notify you of any price change in advance (for example, by email or in the extension), and it will take effect at your next renewal. If you do not agree with a new price, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
You retain ownership of the notes and content you create with Leafovers. By using sync, you grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.
You are responsible for the content of your notes. You may not use the Service to store or share content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others.
You agree not to:
The Leafovers name, logo, extension, and website are our intellectual property. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that notes will be preserved indefinitely — please keep copies of important information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as limitations of liability) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and where appropriate we will notify you in the extension or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's country of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
